Quality Counts

Each and every SpectraView monitor goes through very tight quality assurance and measurement processes to ensure you exceptional uniformity, gamut and tonality. This means that you will get a monitor with great uniformity from corner to corner. A monitor that can display nearly all of Adobe RGB. A monitor that will show you detail both in highlights and shadows that would be lost on a lesser screen. The satin finish anti glare coating and the fine 0.233 mm dot pitch deliver exceptional image sharpness. The included SpectraView Profiler software enables easy and very accurate hardware calibration - all the adjustment is done automatically for you - all you need is a compatible colorimeter such as an i1 Display Pro or Spyder4. The Reference version comes with a hood, a full 5 years warranty plus a pixel defect warranty for 6 months. The Reference models are hand picked during the quality assurance process and so have the very best uniformity.

The SpectraView Reference 272 is a screen that you can trust. What you see will be an accurate rendition of your image so you'll be able to process, edit, create and retouch with absolute confidence.

Zero Defect Pixel Warranty

If the screen has or develops any full pixel or sub pixel fault in the first six months from purchase then NEC will replace or repair the unit under warranty. Pixel defects are very rare in this quality of LCD panel.

Additional Features

  • 14-bit LUT (look up table) for 42-bit colour control and gamma correction, irrespective of colour and input.
  • 150 mm height adjust
  • Integrated USB Hub (2 up; 3 down) can be used to attach USB peripherals such as mouse and keyboard. At the same time the 2 up connectors can be assigned to different video inputs (input following), which may be feeding the Picture-in-Picture function. Since the USB standard is supported by various platforms easy support is assured when using simultaneous heterogeneous environment.
