i1 Publish Upgrade B

Upgrade your i1Match, ProfileMaker or MonacoPROFILER solution to the complete functionality of i1Publish. 

Owners of one of X-Rite’s qualifying legacy solutions are eligible to purchase a reduced price upgrade package, which includes the full i1Publish solution and directly supports i1Pro, i1iO and i1iSis instruments.

There are two upgrade levels. Eligibility is determined by original purchased solution, plus any additional purchased module(s).  You will not have to surrender the use of your current solution in order to upgrade. However, the upgrade process does verify that the original solution is legitimate and eligible for upgrade. In order to activate, upgrade process requires serial number from i1Pro device or software dongle from ProfileMaker or MonacoPROFILER solutions.

Eligibility at a Glance

Upgrade paths are as follows:

• If you originally purchased i1Basic, i1Design LT, i1Photo LT or i1Pro OEM – buy i1Publish Upgrade B to get full i1Publish Pro functionality. (Use your existing i1Pro, still keep your license flags for i1Match software, and get all the new software, features and components).

• If you purchased any of the following modules to add functionality to your i1Basic, i1Design LT, i1Photo LT or i1Pro OEM solution, purchase i1Publish Upgrade A to get full i1Publish Pro functionality. (During the upgrade process i1Profiler will check if the license flags on the instrument qualify for the level of purchased upgrade.

• If you originally purchased i1Photo, i1Photo SG, i1Proof, i1XT, or i1XTreme – buy i1Publish Upgrade A to get full i1Publish Pro functionality. (Use your existing i1Pro, still keep your license flags for i1Match software, and get all the new software, features and components).

• All ProfileMaker 5 packages are eligible for upgrade – purchase i1Publish Upgrade A
  (Use your existing Hasp4 dongle(s), still keep your license flags for ProfileMaker 5 software, and receive all the new software, features and components.)

• All MonacoPROFILER 4 packages are eligible for upgrade  - purchase i1Publish Upgrade A
  (Keep your existing MonacoPROFILER dongle, and get a new i1Publish dongle with all the new software, features and components.)

• i1iSis owners who do not have an i1Pro device or a ProfileMaker 5 or MonacoPROFILER 4 dongle can purchase the new i1Publish software package (including dongle).  

• Customers of ProfileMaker 4.x or lower or MonacoPROFILER 3.x  or lower can purchase the new i1Publish software package (including dongle).

X-Rite also offers upgrades for customers that purchase the new i1Basic Pro or i1Photo Pro solutions:  

• Purchase i1Basic Pro and at any time upgrade to full i1Publish Pro functionality – purchase i1Publish Upgrade B
• Purchase i1Photo Pro and at any time upgrade to full i1Publish Pro functionality – purchase i1Publish Upgrade A

Dongle Upgrade Process
Purchase either Upgrade A or Upgrade B as applicable. Upgrade package includes an activation code that is required during the activation process via i1Profiler software interface. Once entered and when connected to the internet, your i1Pro device or ProfileMaker dongle will automatically be coded for new i1Publish software. If you do not have internet connectivity, you will need to call a local X-Rite service center to receive a manual activation code.

MonacoPROFILER owners will need to call a local X-Rite service center to verify that existing dongle is valid.  You will then receive a new i1Publish dongle by mail within 5 business days.
